Climate Action through Creative Literacy

In this hands-on session teachers will be introduced to ideas and activities in poetry/creative writing with a climate/social change perspective led by poet Remi Graves.

There will be time for networking with other teachers that are passionate about climate learning and action and opportunities sharing as well.

Remi Graves, a London based poet and drummer. A former Barbican Young Poet, Remi’s work has been featured on BBC Radio 4, at St Paul’s Cathedral and in Pan Macmillan’s She is Fierce Anthology.

Remi has taught courses at The Poetry School and delivers workshops in schools and libraries across London and UK.

This session is organised by the Suntrap Forest Centre, the climate learning and action campus for Waltham Forest and beyond in partnership with the Creative Schools + Colleges Membership Programme, aimed at teachers based in East London Boroughs.
