As part of Creative Schools, Stratford Circus associate Filament Theatre is working with 200 Y4 students at Grafton Primary school in Barking & Dagenham and New City Primary school in Newham.
“Both schools wanted to use the arts to spark and inspire creative writing so Filament Theatre’s Once Upon A… project was a perfect fit. The stories and characters created by all those taking part will inspire Filament Theatre’s new show in July 2017 and the students’ involvement doesn’t end there… The children will be engaged throughout the process, attending rehearsal and development sessions at Stratford Circus Arts Centre and shaping the performance through their feedback too.” Bex Hand, Creative Schools Partnership Co-ordinator
