Schools FREE Membership January – July 2022
What schools get:
- Brokerage session to pinpoint school need and present relevant opportunities
- A choice of project proposals from a number of partners that are chosen in partnership with the school and address need at an agreed budget
- Financial subsidy towards these projects
- Practical Artsmark Support
- Access to our CPD programme and partner opportunities
- Access to our network of schools and organisations
Schools taking part in the Creative Schools programme will receive tailored support to align arts and cultural provision with school improvement priorities. School need will form the basis on which projects will be commissioned selecting proposals from East London’s incredible arts and cultural organisations . We also have an allocated number of places for supporting schools in a practical way towards gaining an Artsmark Award– the nationally recognised accreditation for quality arts provision in schools.
We have two types of membership:
- Full membership and
- Associate membership
To become a full member and receive subsidy and tailored support, your school needs to be based in one of the 6 East London boroughs: Barking and Dagenham, Newham, Redbridge, Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest, all areas identified as having extremely high rates of economic and social deprivation. Associate members can access CPD and wider opportunities and can be based in any London borough or beyond.
